Who We Are
The QCBR, Quad Cities Builders and Remodelers, is an organization that works closely with the State and National Associations of Home Builders. At the State level we partner with the Home Builders Association of Iowa (HBA of Iowa) and the Home Builders Association of Illinois (HBAI). The Home Builders Association of Iowa is the leading advocate for the construction industry. The Home Builders Association of Illinois is the watchdog for builders, contractors, and developers that strive to keep legislation and regulatory action favorable to the industry. At the National level, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) provides the QCBR with guidance through advocacy, expertise, knowledge, networking, and savings. The local, State, and National Associations of Home Builders represent the largest network of builders and remodelers and are dedicated to building and enriching communities.
What We Do
The QCBR interacts closely with the local, state and national governments to develop legislation that allows builders and remodelers to construct homes safely and at a reasonable cost. We offer educational workshops and seminars on construction issues, regulations, and legislation. The Quad Cities Builders and Remodelers also provide the opportunity for manufacturers to discuss technology and innovative ideas with builders and remodelers.

QCBR works to enhance the local business environment for our over 300 builders, remodelers and associates within the greater Quad Cities area; while the Illinois and Iowa Associations do the same at the state level and NAHB at the national level. We achieve more collectively than we can as individuals.
Home Builders Association of Iowa
The Home Builders Association of Iowa is a state association serving 11 local associations in the state of Iowa, representing over 1750 members.
Home Builders Association of Illinois
The HBAI is the watchdog for builders, contractors, developers and all those involved in home building across Illinois. We work hard to keep legislation and regulatory action favorable to the industry–and especially to how it affects our members’ bottom lines.
National Association of Home Builders
NAHB is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large since 1942.
